Toy & Hobby China (The 39th Shenzhen International Toy & Hobby Fair) will be held concurrently with Baby & Stroller China and Licensing China, will serve as a launchpad for brands to harness business opportunities driven by China's rising generation of trendy toy consumers. As one of the largest global toy markets, China offers huge opportunities for domestic and international manufacturers and buyers.
The Trendy Toys and Collectibles zone is returning!
In 2026 edition, Trendy Toy Zone featured various trendy and collectible toys including blind boxes, garage kits figures, ball jointed dolls, and cotton dolls and more - targeting consumers aged 14 and above. The zone will also showcase products that have expanded beyond traditional children's toys into the trendier realm, such as building blocks, plush toys, alloy car models, and remote control vehicles.
The new AI Smart Toy Area
Held in Shenzhen, a major hub for toy manufacturing and high-tech products, Toy & Hobby China is set to introduce the AI Smart Toy Area in 2026, drawing on the city’s industrial strengths. Key products in the area included: AI plush toys, AI learning cameras, children’s AI companion robots, and many more.
In the current era of emotional consumption, demand is increasingly driven by products that provide emotional value, companionship and personal expression, appealing to a wider demographic from children to adults and even seniors – especially those living alone. While AI smart toys can support intelligent interactions and emotional connections, trendy toys and collectibles also play a vital role in fulfilling these sentimental needs.
